During the programming and schematic phase for the Midlothian Library, HG prepared several concepts for the county to consider that promotes learning and curiosity. Because HG’s staff does not always focus exclusively on utilities during schematic design, we were able to promote ideas like an outdoor classroom, and a choice of several inexpensive outdoor interactive stations for children of different ages to engage, while keeping county reviews, setbacks and approvals in mind. These concepts are provided to attract more people to the library and open the community to a wider demographic.
