Quick Turnaround for Longwood Gateway Project

Who says design and construction has to be a slow process? In preparation for tonight’s debate at Longwood, HG has been busy designing and managing construction of projects that beautify and functionalize it’s outdoor spaces around Willett Hall and the Gateway. “The University wanted everything to look really beautiful for the debate and required the design team to knock out a new outdoor design to be constructed in just a few months,” said Robbie Roach, PLA, ASLA, the landscape architect tasked with the quick turnaround for schematics, working drawings and construction. He will be attending the debate and looks forward to taking photos of the areas near the debate. “It’s really exciting to be a part of history like this. I’m looking forward to seeing how the press, students and staffers for the debate interact with the new HG design”. More to report after the debate…
