University of Virginia

HG Design Studio was awarded a term contract with the University of Virginia in March of 2016. Our responsiveness, reasonable fees, and quality work products have quickly made us a highly valued consultant to the University. The highest compliment a client can give us is to recommend us to others; University personnel have been recommending us a good partners to their other consultants, the University of Virginia Foundation, and to outside architects.

One of the many exciting projects we're currently working on at UVA is the expansion of the Davenport baseball field. This project expands the existing Davenport Field stadium along the right field line; relocates the home and visitors bull pens; renovates the left field bleachers; provides an enhanced entry plaza; treats stormwater for quality and quantity control; and expands parking for the stadium. During the schematic design process, HG Design Studio provided multiple design iterations to align the aesthetic vision for the project with the needs of the athletics department and the construction budget.
